France is a
nation that lives to eat, as opposed to other mere mortals who
eat to live... There are literally thousands of specialities and recipes throughout France, with the Provence regional cooking probably having the most exposure outside France. If you follow your nose and choose your restaurant and your wine, avoiding typically tourist eateries, you will eat well.
